Vision Statement

The vision of the QCSRA is to provide a platform for grassroot referees to apply and develop their skills in a nurturing and safe environment whilst upholding traditional Christian values.

The values that the QCSRA upholds and promotes are:

Focus Areas

The areas of focus for the organisation will include but not limited to the following.

· Continual growth and development of officials especially those at youth level

· Sustainable growth of active referees

· Continual financial stability of the association

This can be done by encouraging referees to attend coaching sessions and express interest in upgrading their qualification. Those who are entering their third season or are showing great promise in their second season should be greatly encouraged to upgrade to level 3. Overall development can be assessed through assessment reports and the panels that referees are on from the beginning and end of seasons.

Sustainable growth of active referees

This is easily accessed by the number of active referees from each season, though there are always drop offs, the aim of this is to reduce the number of referees who leave the association for negative reasons. For those who do not wish to continue to be an active member, the goal is to continue good relations with these people to keep open a potential return in the future.
